Market Re-engagement Program (MRP)
Designed as a temporary market development support program in traditional markets that may have been underserved due to travel and gathering restrictions, STEP’s Market Re-engagement Program (MRP) was established to assist members in their export market activities in a post COVID-19 era.
The Market Re-engagement Program allows approved STEP Members 50% funding of eligible costs to participate in a trade show they have previously attended or in an established market. The activity must have an overall objective of market development and re-establishing connections post COVID-19.
STEP Members, who qualify under the STEP Market Re-engagement Program (MRP) program eligibility and funding criteria, may submit up to one (1) funding application to a maximum reimbursement of $2,000 per year. Premium Members may submit up to two (2) funding applications to a maximum reimbursement of $4,000 per year.
STEP Members are not able to apply for funding for an event that was previously funded by the MRP Program.
This program is available to eligible STEP members for trade activities taking place from April 1, 2022 - March 31, 2023.
Please note that companies must have their applications in 30 days prior to the activity taking place.
