Webinar - Canadian Agri-Food Post-Pandemic Prospects and Challenges Webinar

It is no secret that COVID-19 has caused a massive global economic crisis and significant trade disruptions. However, Canada’s agriculture and agri-food sector have been remarkably resilient during this crisis period. Given the considerable concern about food production, processing, distribution, and demand, how did the Canadian food industry manage them and what is ahead of us? Should the trend continue? Is there something that we could do better? How can businesses expect to adjust in the aftermath of the COVID-19 crisis?

Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership (STEP) invites you to attend a webinar on this topic on Thursday, March 11, 2021.  The webinar will feature Dr. Sylvain Charlebois, known as “The Food Professor”, his current research interest lies in the broad area of food distribution, security and safety. He is one of the world's most cited scholars in food supply chain management, food value chains and traceability. He is also the Senior Director of the Agri-food Analytics Lab, located at Dalhousie University. Attendees will have the opportunity to pose questions at the end of the Webinar.
