Trade Mission: Wyoming Energy Exposition & Resources Symposium Jackson Hole, WY
The Wyoming oil & gas, mining, nuclear, solar, wind, hydrogen and geothermal players are coming together at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in September to network and discuss supply chain management, logistics and energy policy. The event has drawn traditional fossil fuel companies, especially oil producers, for 22 years and is now open to other energy producers and uranium, coal and trona companies.
The event is supported by the Wyoming Governor’s Office, the Bakken Oil Business Journal, the Wyoming Energy Authority, the Oil and Gas Global Network and other local contributors. Wyoming is the 8th largest oil producer in the country. The state has the USA’s largest uranium reserves. Currently it is mined via in-situ recovery but there is one conventional underground project. Wyoming is the main trona producer in the USA and produces the most coal.
The event will start with a gondola ride up the mountain for the Kick-Off Party, which overlooks the mountains of Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Tetons and the town of Jackson Hole. Other networking events will take place over the course of the show to bring exhibitors and attendees together. The show is expected to draw over 75 exhibitors and 650 attendees. The tradeshow booths are located in the same room as the talks, meals and breaks, giving extra exposure to the exhibitors.
