Guy Hughes

Guy is a lifelong resident of Saskatchewan. Previous to his current role, his career has been in the Telecommunication industry including roles in technical, sales, marketing and business development. He spent 7 years with SaskTel International in sales, marketing and business development roles and worked on projects in Europe, India, Africa, S.E. Asia and the U.S. Guy has experience dealing with IFIs, CIDA, EDC and other trade finance organizations. He has made presentations during Team Canada trade missions and to the Canadian Council on Africa.

Guy holds a bachelor of Business Administration from Athabasca University and has earned the Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) designation.

Guy sits on the Boards of the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT), and Special Olympics Saskatchewan.

Outside of work guy enjoys cycling, golf, skiing and most other outdoor activities .
