Virtual Trade Mission - Chile

Following closely on the heels of Expomina Chile, STEP is recruiting members to participate in a virtual trade mission with Chilean mining companies and industry specialists.  STEP will work with members to identify targeted companies and arrange one on one online business meetings.  STEP members will be able to participate remotely using existing equipment with the required support provided by STEP.

Trade Mission - International Financial Institutions (IFI's)

May 21 -24, 2012 - Washington, D.C.

STEP and the World Bank's Private Sector Liaison Officers (PSLO) Network invite you to participate in a joint mission involving companies from Canada, USA, and other countries for an environmental sector focused mission to the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, Caribbean Development Bank and other US based agencies.  The mission is intended for those in the private sector, both suppliers and consultants, who are interested in learning about business opportunities in the environmental sector funded by the World Bank Group, Inter-American Development Bank, Caribbean Development Bank and the Asian Development Bank.  This is a unique opportunity to network with companies and potential partners from around the world and at the same time, learn about opportunities in the environmental sector from the World Bank and other institutions.

Seminar - Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators Conference

May 28 - 30, 2012 - Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

CAMA’s membership consists of approximately 500 City Managers, Chief Administrative Officers and Senior Management. STEP will participate with booth space at the trade show portion which provides an excellent opportunity for suppliers to showcase their products and services to municipal managers. In a further effort to provide exposure for STEP members to this audience, STEP will circulate a directory of member companies who are involved in public works to conference attendees prior to the conference start. STEP will also arrange business meetings for companies interested in pursing opportunities with STEP members.
