Manager - Market Intelligence

Reporting to the Executive Director, Trade Development, the Manager, Market Intelligence, will manage the market intelligence staff within STEP, and perform market intelligence/research activities to advance the interests of Saskatchewan exporters.  The position will be responsible to ensure that there is a provision of timely and accurate information/intelligence on international markets and market opportunities for STEP members.  The successful individual will be responsible to manage the staff, market intelligence resources and training needs, with the objective to ensure STEP members receive the information they need to make informed business decisions.  This position will be located in either Saskatoon or Regina. Your strong communication and team building skills will help you to work within the STEP organization, as well as with member companies and international contacts.  To qualify, you will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Bachelor's Degree in commerce, business administration, marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the areas of management, marketing, market research and analysis.
• Minimum of three years of recent and relevant experience, preferably in the field of international market research and intelligence gathering, including managerial experience within this field. 
• Knowledge of the economic base and the exporting capabilities of Saskatchewan companies. 

Receptionist/Administrative Coordinator

STEP is currently recruiting for a Receptionist/Administrative Coordinator.  Reporting to the Executive Director Trade Development, the Receptionist/Administrative Coordinator will provide reception and general office duties for the Regina STEP office and provide administrative support to the Trade Development staff.  This full time position is located in STEP's Regina office.
Knowledge & Technical Skills Required:
Grade 12, supplemented by business education/secretarial certificate or combination of experience and education.
Working level computer competency.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
