Facility for Agricultural Reform and Modernization (FARM) ProgramThe Facility for Agricultural Reform and Modernization (FARM) Program was funded by CIDA and managed by STEP. FARM’s Canadian partners included the provinces of Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Ukrainian Academy of Agrarian Sciences, and the National Agrarian University were the Ukraine partners. The program was designed to ensure a sustainable approach to agricultural development in the emerging market economy of Ukraine. At the same time, it positioned Canada as a leader in assisting agricultural sector in Ukraine transition to market based principles. The FARM Program Goals:
