Mr. Lionel LaBelle Born and raised in rural Saskatchewan, Mr. LaBelle studied Business Administration at the University of Saskatchewan, Regina Campus. In the mid-70's, he embarked on a twenty-five year entrepreneurial career assuming positions as Managing Partner, President and Chairman of the Board with a broad cross-section of public and private corporations that focused on agri-business, construction and the manufacturing industry. Annual revenues exceeded $130M with employment levels exceeding 150 people. In 2001, LaBelle embarked on a new career path by becoming an outspoken advocate for the emerging biofuel economy both at a provincial and national level. His most recent position prior to joining STEP was the President & CEO of Gardiner Dam Agri-Energy. LaBelle resides in Saskatoon and has formerly sat on a number of boards including Family Services Saskatoon and the Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority. Mr. Brad Michnik Mr. Michnik has a degree in general business and marketing (University of Saskatchewan, 1988) and in January, 2003, Brad attained his Certified International Trade Professional (C.I.T.P) designation. Michnik has over twenty years of experience in export market development and has been with STEP since 1996. Prior to this, he spent eight years in international marketing/sales with Saskatchewan manufacturing companies. Michnik has served as a member of Trade Team Saskatchewan’s Export USA, the New Market Development Committee with the North Saskatoon Business Association (NSBA), Chair of the International Business Center for Western Canada Farm Progress Show and has been a Director for various other committees and trade shows. Ms. Angela Wasylynka Ms. Wasylynka works one-on-one with members to ensure they are aware of the financial tools available for international trade. This postion includes export credit insurance, working capital financing, accounts receivable financing and foreign buyer financing. Wasylynka also works individually with prospective and existing clients to develop customized financial solutions to meet their needs.
