STEP Flash Drive Order Form (pdf) Call Nominations - STEP Board of DirectorsSaskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership is seeking nominees to fill six Regular Member Director positions that will be up for re-election this fall. Four of these Board positions will fill three (3) year terms with these terms expiring at the 2013 Annual General Meeting and two positions will fill a one (1) year term also expiring at the 2011 Annual General Meeting. Prospective candidates are asked to complete and forward an application form, skills matrix documentation and a detailed biography prior to July 15, 2010.

The purpose of this free program is to arm Saskatchewan companies with the resources and tools that will enable them to build export capacity and knowledge. Saskatchewan Manufacturing Labour Market SurveyThe Saskatchewan Manufacturing Labour Market Survey was commissioned by Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (STEP) with funding provided by Enterprise Saskatchewan and the Ministry of Advanced Education, Employment and Labour. The market study was undertaken to better understand the key human resource issues impacting Saskatchewan manufacturers, understand the strategies manufacturing companies are using to overcome these issues and to better quantify the specific occupational requirements of the industry. STEP Staff Earn CITP DesignationMr. Lionel LaBelle, President & CEO, Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (STEP) is pleased to announce that Jennifer Evancio, Director - Agri-value and Jeff Thackeray, Manager, Market Intelligence have attained their designations of Certified International Trade Professionals (CITP), click here Product of Canada/Made in Canada Labelling - Competition Bureau of Canada RevisionsProvincial Exporters are advised that The Competition Bureau of Canada has made changes to the Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act, the Competition Act, and the Textile Labelling Act pertaining to “Made in Canada” and “Product of Canada” labelling for non-food products. These changes add more requirements for Canadian manufacturers who utilize these labels. Previously, 'Made in Canada' claims could be made as long as the product met a 51% threshold of Canadian content and had its last substantial transformation in Canada.
