Maze Innovations is located in Unity Saskatchewan and is the manufacturer of "The Gophinator". The Gophinator is a sixty-gallon anhydrous ammonia tank designed with 50 feet of hose and a specially built wand. The wand is equipped with a spring-loaded valve that for safety reasons has to be held open when in use. On the end of the wand is a hose to be placed in the hole or a probe can be installed if you are after pocket gophers. The purpose of this unit is to eradicate rodents such as gophers, ground squirrels, rats, prairie dogs, ground hogs, etc. This is done by placing the end of the wand into the burrow of the rodent and injecting the NH3 down the hole. It only takes about 5 seconds per hole, and one tank full can do up to 500 holes. The unit is designed to be loaded in the back of a pick-up truck, on a trailer, or whatever the operator chooses by either a forklift or a front-end loader. The unit also comes equipped with rubber gloves and safety goggles.
The Ammoniator is used to treat bails by injecting them with ammonia. This denatures the bail so the straw can be applied to oil/gas reclaimation sites to control soil erosion. This process is particularly important in environmentally sensitive areas. Maze is currently providing this service to oil/gas sites in SK.

A wheel kit is also available for this unit. It allows the unit to be towed behind a four-wheeler or any ATV. The price for this option is $750.00 (Canadian).
