Canada North Environmental Services Limited Partnership (CanNorth) provides a wide range of environmental services and is 100% owned by the Lac La Ronge Indian Band through Kitsaki Management Limited Partnership. This aboriginal ownership ensures meaningful involvement of First Nations in environmental programs. CanNorth provides high quality, cost-effective environmental services to Canadian and international resource development and government agencies. Resource fields include mining, forestry, oil and gas and agriculture. The company offers the technical skills and knowledge to deliver solutions for managing environmental risk in ways that benefit the community through employment, training, experience, and economic benefits, while at the same time protecting the environment. Project involvement emphasizes environmental study design and technologies, and local aboriginal/indigenous participation. Projects are undertaken using state-of-the-art technology for analyses, evaluation, and problem-solving.
