The Estey Centre for Law and Economics in International Trade is an independent, interdisciplinary centre for research and teaching in issues related to international trade, trade policy, law and economics. The Estey Centre offers training and professional development in a broad range of areas related to international trade, including trade-related technical assistance in the field of World Trade Organization (WTO) trade policy development and implementation. The Estey Centre undertakes both independent, self-funded research as well as commissioned research for governments and the private sector. The Centre publishes a respected web-based academic journal, The Estey Centre Journal of International Law and Trade Policy (www.esteyjournal.com), which attracts excellent reviews internationally and averages 1,500 hits/downloads each month.
