Canadian Classic Wild Boar Co-operative is a producer owned and producer run cooperative that formed together to market wild boar domestically and internationally. The Co-operative is set up in the "New Generation" concept and the producer member controls its powers. Only wild boar producers can be members, and they must strive to produce the highest quality wild boar. The Co-operative has a gathering facility to bring animals into. This facility is used to sort various animals to the requirements of the purchaser (size, meat color, weight). Accurate reporting of herd populations, and delivering animals of sufficient quality when required to satisfy a particular customers need is the key to the Co-operatives success to date. By pooling their herds, offering top quality animals, delivered on time and by producing a wide range of value added products the Co-operative is in a good position to serve World markets.
