Walter Michel, who introduced to the market tarpaulins for grain bodies, founded Michel's Industries in 1971. Over the years Michel's have progressed to produce one of the top siderolling tarp systems on the market today. Their newest product line, the Harvest Pro-Tech, an Electric Combine Cover for covering the grain tanks of newer style combines, has been taking the nation by surprise. Innovative, user-friendly products and service, has kept Michel?s Industries "The Tarp Specialists" for over 36 years. Along with Siderolling Tarps and Combine covers, Michel's have diversified with the addition of gravel tarp systems. An Ultra and Econo Flip Tarp along with the Gravel Guard were introduced to the product line to fit Gravel boxes and trailers. Michel's Industries also manufactures under "Hopper Augers" which mount underneath semi trailers to act as a transfer auger for filling air drills or a swing auger at harvest.
