The Office of Global Relations, situated within the University Secretariat, was established in 2004 to help internationalize the campus community by: providing leadership on international protocol and special event programming; helping to internationalize the learning environment, supporting internationalization through service and outreach while enhancing the profile of their campus community in Canada an around the world; and fostering and sustaining university-wide connections with international stakeholders from industry, Canadian and foreign governments, internationally-engaged community organizations as well as post-secondary and research institutions from other regions of the world. International Research spearheads the coordination, facilitation and implementation of programs, partnerships and policies, to support an expanding research and training portfolio. Office staff work with the University research community, their national and international collaborators, to develop mutually beneficial relations that advance the goals articulated in the University of Saskatchewan foundational documents.
