SaskEnergy International, a subsidiary of SaskEnergy, is pursuing opportunities in Latin America to apply their 45 plus years of natural gas distribution, transmission and storage expertise in international markets. SaskEnergy operates one of the largest natural gas distribution networks in North America, covering an area of 360,000 kilometers, serving 329,000 plus customers. SaskEnergy, through it's subsidiary, TransGas, owns and operates transmission, gathering, compression, treatment and natural gas storage facilities in Saskatchewan. TransGas owns and operates more than 14,000 kilometers of gathering and transmission pipelines, and its 11 storage locations (caverns and fields) hold almost 38 billion cubic feet of natural gas.
