The Saskatchewan Food Processors Association (SFPA) was formed in 1990 as a nonprofit organization designed to strengthen the food processing industry in Saskatchewan. The SFPA is an industry based, marketing development association that serves the Saskatchewan food industry. The association is responsible to its membership which is comprised of both manufacturers and suppliers. The SFPA provides market and business development services which assist companies in augmenting their market capabilities in both domestic and international initiatives. The Saskatchewan Made marketplace concept was put in place in 2004. The marketplace showcases products from Saskatchewan such as food, crafts, books, music, art, paintings, specialty items, gift baskets and much more. SFPA is expanding the program throughout the province for consumer awareness of availability of Saskatchewan Made products. Supply of products to the Saskatchewan Made locations is available through the SFPA Distribution Centre which is linked to the SFPA internet web page.
