Regina Regional Economic Development Authority (RREDA) has a mandate to encourage economic growth and diversification, to bring together business ideas and opportunities, and to promote a positive image of the Regina Region as an attractive place to live, to work and to do business. RREDA actively promotes economic initiatives to help create investment opportunities and employment in the Regina Region by supporting existing business and encouraging new companies to become resident here. The Regina Regional Economic Development Authority (RREDA) is an independent body created by City Council and is governed by a Board of Directors made of individuals representing the business community, regional partners, Wascana Campus of SIAST and the University of Regina. Regional partners include the rural municipalities (RM's) of Edenwold, Lumsden, McKillop and Sherwood, and the Towns and Villages of Balgonie, Grand Coulee, Lumsden, Pilot Butte, Regina Beach, Southey, Strasbourg and White City.

Develop, maintain and implement an economic development strategy for the Regina Region; provide market information for business, industry and investors; undertake research; provide site location assistance; participate in trade missions; liaise with federal and provincial economic development and trade offices; and, liaise with local municipal departments affecting business.
