Haukaas Manufacturing began in the winter of 1980. Duane Haukaas and his son Greg began manufacturing small attachments for farm machinery. The Side Arm Field Marker came to be in 1990 and to this day is Haukaas's main product line. The Side Arm was designed to work on the newer larger air seeding equipment. In 1999 Haukaas introduced a new product called the Metal Master which is a 4 in 1 fabrication tool. Being a company which has done well in niche markets, Haukaas designed the Metal Master to be portable by attaching it to the deck of a service truck. The first of its kind, the portable Metal Master shop-tool is a 35 ton: punch, press, brake and shear which will find its home on service trucks around the world. In 2004, Haukaas introduced the Quick Pick Bale Buncher. A round bale accumulator for gathering round hay bales in hay fields.
