The Saskatchewan Flax Development Commission (SFDC), established in 1996, represents 13,000 plus flax producers in Saskatchewan. A check-off system enables the organization to support research, communications and market facilitation activities which promote and enhance flax production and value-added processing of flax products. SFDC provides information and guidance regarding production, research and market development to producers.
