In July 2006, Ngee Cau moved back to Regina to join MarkeTel Systems Ltd as the CEO. Ngee was in Shanghai, China where he was with Microsoft in the Global Outsourcing Team responsible for Microsoft outsourcing strategies for Asia Pacific. Prior to Microsoft he was with Nortel Networks based in Hong Kong and Vancouver, Canada.

Ngee grew up in Regina but went to the University of British Columbia for both his Bachelor of Commerce and International MBA degrees from the University of British Columbia. He began his career in the high tech industry at Nortel Networks in Vancouver, BC. He started out as a Sales Specialist in charge of Operator Services including TOLL, 1-800, Directory Assistance, and Intelligent Networks. His rapid advancement to Associate Account Manager drove the network management business, which managed optical networks, voice switches and wireless switches. Ngee was then appointed to Hong Kong to manage the Asia Pacific business as a Market Development Manager and oversaw the end-to-end network management business in the Pacific Rim region. There, his duties ranged from increasing market share to providing customer support.

A move to China to join Microsoft brought Ngee a new perspective on the global market. While there, he demonstrated his drive for quality, robust process, and high standards. He was instrumental in developing Microsoft’s long-term outsourcing strategy in Asia, including improvements in vendor selection, vendor management, and contract management. Ngee’s visions for rapid growth and technical advancement are the same visions that MarkeTel has always embraced. His international reputation is the platform from which MarkeTel plans to advance the company's roots.
