Murray is currently General Manager of Sales and Technology at Hitachi Canadian Industries Ltd (HCI) in Saskatoon. HCI is a heavy custom fabrication and machining facility specializing in the manufacture of components for the energy industry as well as other heavy industrial applications. Over 80% of HCI’s product is exported outside of Saskatchewan to countries such as the USA, Japan, Europe, Australia, Singapore as well as several others.

Murray was born and raised in Saskatchewan and received his Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1987. For the past 15 years with Hitachi, he has been extensively involved with sales and business development on an international level in addition to other progressive senior management responsibilities. He has substantial international business experience including a one year work term in Japan as well as substantial international travel. Prior to his employment at Hitachi, he has worked for an engineering consulting firm performing engineering and construction management services for industrial clients in the Toronto region.
