STEP International

International development projects focus on emerging markets.  These markets represent the long-term growth potential of Saskatchewan exports. The difficulty for our members in these regions is to source foreign buyer financing to purchase our goods and services.

International development projects create markets for Canadian goods and services.  STEP's involvement in these projects bring specific benefits for STEP members:

  • International project management by STEP allows the flexibility to award contracts to qualified companies within our membership.
  • As well, international projects provide a professional development opportunity for STEP staff where the valuable experience gained can be utilized in their other job-related duties.
  • Project Management generates revenue for STEP which is re-invested back into our operations which adds resources for STEP to service our membership needs.
  • International Project Management also provides opportunities for our members to deliver consulting, training, goods & services for these projects.

STEP International Development Newsletter

STEP International has embarked on a new strategy to increase International Development opportunities for our members and Western Canadian organizations and consultants.  As a part of this strategy we have developed the STEP International Newsletter which will provide valuable information to interested organizations and individuals on international development project opportunities and provide information and tips on how to successfully bid for international development projects and contracts.  This information is provided as a STEP membership benefit and can be accessed through the Members Only section.
