Operating as a government/industry partnership, STEP champions the province’s export industry and assists provincial businesses in realizing global marketing opportunities while finding custom solutions for Saskatchewan exporters.
As a non-profit, membership based organization, STEP brings these resources together to provide world-class specially tailored services and programs that are of primary value to companies who are exporting outside the borders of Saskatchewan. These services include Trade Development, Market Intelligence, International Finance and Logistics, and International Development Projects.

1. Export Growth - Work with our partners to promote prosperity through aggressive and sustained growth in the export of Saskatchewan goods, services and technologies.
2. Membership Growth - Grow a broad-based, active Regular membership who consistently benefit from STEP services.
3. Commercial Services and Corporate Sustainability - Enhance the longer term fiscal sustainability of STEP, particularly in its ability to sustain and service the needs of its members beyond any constraints in the overall growth of government spending.
4. Organizational Development and Corporate Leadership - Position STEP as a corporate leader of quality-based and innovative management systems, and as a top employer in Saskatchewan.
